Connected Tools

Connected tools turn your saved projects into classroom-ready materials. Every tool can load context from a project, so you do not have to re-enter objectives, outcomes, or vocabulary.

Some tools are included with Pro. Resource Assistant is only available with Pro+ Studio.

Differentiated Text

Create leveled reading passages from source text or from a saved project.

Reading levels

  • Emerging - Simplified sentence structure and vocabulary.
  • On-level - Standard text for the chosen grade or year group.
  • Advanced - More complex vocabulary, sentence structure, and inference demands.

Controls

  • Source text or project context.
  • Lexile target.
  • Reading age.
  • Output language.
  • Locked key vocabulary you want to preserve.

Outputs

Each run produces three leveled versions plus vocabulary support and comprehension questions.

Formative Quiz

Build a quick check for understanding from a lesson plan or your own focus area.

Controls

  • Number of questions: 3 to 15.
  • Question types: multiple choice, short answer, true/false.
  • Include an answer key.
  • Include misconception hints.
  • Focus field or target misconception to guide the AI.

Exports

  • QTI file for importing into Canvas and other LMS platforms.
  • CSV for spreadsheet use.
  • Copy to clipboard.

Rubric Builder

Create a rubric from the success criteria in a project or from scratch.

Performance scales

  • Standard 4-level - Beginning, Developing, Proficient, Advanced.
  • UK 3-band - Working Towards, Expected Standard, Greater Depth.
  • Mastery 3-level - Emerging, Developing, Secure.
  • IB 1-8 - IB scale from 1 to 8.

Criteria

Add 3 to 5 criteria. For each criterion, enter descriptors for each performance band.

Assessment mode

  1. Enter a student label.
  2. Click the band cell for each criterion.
  3. Click Generate feedback report for a summary of achievement and next steps.

Resource Assistant

Resource Assistant is included with Pro+ Studio. It helps you generate printable resources for a selected lesson.

  1. Select a lesson from a project.
  2. The AI proposes resources such as worksheets, graphic organizers, or task cards.
  3. Approve or edit the proposed resources.
  4. Click Generate.
  5. Download the printable PDF.

This is useful when you want to turn a plan into ready-to-use classroom materials.

Loading project context

Every tool can load a saved project to pre-fill context. Look for the Load from Project button or open the tool directly from a project page.
