Plans & Billing

The EdToolkit Homeschool App offers three tiers so you can choose the one that fits your family. Prices are not shown here because they may change, but you can view current pricing inside the app before you subscribe or upgrade.

Free Tier

The free tier is a great way to try the app and plan for a smaller homeschool.

It includes:

  • Up to 2 child profiles.
  • Up to 10 plans per month.
  • Access to core planning and compliance features.
  • Basic learning tools.

The free tier gives you a solid introduction to planning and compliance tracking without any cost.

Family Tier

The Family tier is designed for households that want unlimited planning for multiple children.

It includes:

  • Unlimited child profiles.
  • Unlimited plans each month.
  • All standard learning tools, including Differentiated Reading.
  • Full access to the planner, compliance tracker, and child profile features.

This tier works well for active homeschool families who plan regularly for several learners.

Family+ Tier

The Family+ tier includes everything in the Family tier, plus advanced features for record keeping and resource creation.

It includes:

  • Portfolio collections and exports.
  • Compliance templates.
  • Access to the Resource Assistant for handouts, worksheets, flashcards, and AI visuals.
  • Priority support for billing and account questions.

This tier is a good fit for families who want to build detailed portfolios, prepare for reviews, or create customized learning materials from their saved plans.

Managing Your Subscription

You can view your current tier, check usage limits, and upgrade or cancel your subscription from the Plans & Billing section in the app.

To manage billing:

  1. Open the Plans & Billing page.
  2. Review your current tier and usage.
  3. Choose Upgrade if you want more features.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete payment.
  5. Return to the page at any time to view invoices or change your plan.

If you cancel, you will keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will move to the free tier.

Choosing the Right Tier

  • Start with the Free tier if you are exploring the app or homeschooling one or two children lightly.
  • Choose the Family tier if you plan often and want unlimited children and plans.
  • Choose the Family+ tier if you want portfolio exports, compliance templates, and the Resource Assistant.
